Hi! My name is Mimi Fürst and I currently work as a UI/UX Designer for games at Goodbye Kansas Group (Virtual Brains) from Stockholm, Sweden. I have worked as a UI/UX designer in the game industry since 2019 but I’ve been dreaming about it way longer. Very few things make me as excited as games, I am happy that I work with making games accessible and pretty for players. It's a delicious feeling when shape, function, and color work together.
As a person, I am driven, playful, and positive. Nothing motivates me more than team spirit!
My Background is in 2D Animation and illustration. After participating in game jams and worked on the indie game Smelly Memories, I 2017 decided to move to Canada to study Game Design. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Narrative Animated Film from Stockholm’s Academy of Dramatic Arts and a diploma in Game Design from Vancouver Film School.
